Chris Neal's HVAC career started in 1991, when he graduated from ITT Tech with his education funded by Carrier. His first job, with Kool Ease, was maintaining a 400-ton Aeronca Aerospace ammonia chiller — industrial refrigeration at a scale most residential technicians never touch. He moved up quickly, designing systems and managing the crews that built out new Walgreens locations.
Chris then headed west, running Guardian HVAC for a year before being recruited to lead AC for Less in Las Vegas — at the time the second-largest AC replacement company in the city. There he moved the company's purchasing from Lennox to Carrier equipment through Sigler Reeves. Carrier had funded his schooling, so in a way he was repaying them. He ran the company for four years.
Texas came next. Chris moved to Austin and passed the state HVAC licensing exam at the top of his class, missing only two answers. He built Neal HVAC into the top-rated AC company in the area — voted Best of Round Rock six years in a row, Best of Hutto both years the company was based there, and, after moving to Georgetown in February 2026, Best of Georgetown that same year.
Today Neal HVAC serves Georgetown and Williamson County from 2006 Rivery Blvd with AC repair, AC installation, replacement, heating service, and maintenance across Williamson County — with the same approach that earned those awards: honest recommendations, clear pricing, and work done right the first time.
