The Neighborhoods We Serve
We don't cover Austin as a whole, and we don't head down into central or south Austin. Our Austin-area work is focused on three far-north neighborhoods that are practical to reach from Georgetown:
- Avery Ranch — Austin's city limits actually cross into southern Williamson County here, so parts of Avery Ranch sit in the same county as the rest of our service area.
- Wells Branch — a long-established community on the north side of the Austin area.
- Milwood — the neighborhood around Parmer Lane in north Austin.
If you're just outside these areas, give us a call with your address and we'll let you know honestly whether we can reach you.
What Central Texas Weather Does to an HVAC System
The official Austin weather station at Camp Mabry is the best measure of what systems in these neighborhoods go through. Its 1991–2020 normals show about 123 days a year at 90°F or hotter, with a normal August high near 98°F and July not far behind. That's a long stretch of heavy run time. It's why so many calls come in mid-summer: a capacitor that finally gives out, a drain line that clogs and backs up, or a system that runs all afternoon and still can't hold the thermostat setting.
Winters are mild most of the time, but the same normals show about 12 nights a year at or below freezing — and nobody here has forgotten the February 2021 winter storm. A heating system that sits unused for months should be checked before it's needed. We provide heating repair, heating installation and furnace replacement, and heat pump service for homes that rely on either type of system.
HVAC Services for Avery Ranch, Wells Branch & Milwood
- AC repair — careful diagnosis that looks at airflow, electrical parts, refrigerant performance, and drainage before recommending a fix.
- AC replacement — when repair no longer makes sense, we explain why, and size the new equipment for your house. Our guide on what size AC you need explains why that matters.
- AC installation — new systems installed cleanly and tested before we leave. If you're comparing efficiency options, see our guide to SEER ratings.
- HVAC maintenance — seasonal tune-ups to catch worn parts before a long run of 90-degree days does.
- Financing — available for new systems when the timing isn't ideal.
